Independence and affiliation

ChinaTravelBible.com is an independent publication. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any government, embassy, consulate, immigration authority, tourism board, airline, railway operator, hotel group, payment provider or booking platform.

References to official bodies — including the National Immigration Administration and Chinese visa application centres — are provided so you can verify rules at the source. We are not an official channel for any of them.

No professional advice

Our guides are travel journalism. They are not legal, immigration, tax, medical or financial advice, and they do not create a professional relationship of any kind. Entry decisions rest solely with the border authorities you present yourself to.

Editorial policy

• We name the source. Where a rule can get you turned away at a border, we link the official document rather than paraphrase it silently.
• We date our work. Every article carries a published and last-checked date, and we re-verify entry rules, payment flows and booking platforms on a rolling basis.
• We say when something is not worth it. If an attraction, pass or tool is poor value, we say so — including when a partner we might earn from is involved.
• We correct errors. See the corrections policy below.

• Advertising is served by third-party networks and labelled where required.
• Advertisers have no influence over editorial content and no advance sight of it.
• We do not publish paid "reviews" presented as editorial.
• We do not accept advertising that we believe misleads readers about travel requirements.

Corrections policy

If you spot an error — especially a factual one about entry rules, prices or transport — please tell us. Include the page URL and, if you can, a link to the official source.

• Factual errors are corrected as soon as we can verify the correct position.
• Material corrections update the page's last-checked date.
• We do not silently rewrite published articles to hide a mistake.
